LINGVOBALT project managers, translators and editors often use computer-assisted translation (CAT) tools in the work process, as CAT tools help to ensure consistent use of terminology, may reduce the time required to complete a translation and have proved to be cost-efficient for our clients. Functionality of modern CAT tools enable translation of texts in different formats.

Commonly, CAT tools are used to translate technical, medical, legal texts and EU documents. Translation memory of all client’s translated texts is stored in the LINGVOBALT inner data management system and is updated after each new translation is made and reviewed.

Our preferred CAT tool is Trados Studio software, but we can also do projects using other CAT tools, such as Memsource, Wordfast, Transit, MemoQ, Across, etc.
