LINGVOBALT attends TEKOM FAIR 2019
On November 12–13, LINGVOBALT, specializing in translations into Baltic languages, attended TEKOM FAIR 2019, which took place in Stuttgart, Germany. The latest translation technologies and newly developed products became the focus of attention for this event participants. TEKOM provided us with a unique opportunity to get a comprehensive overview of the translation industry market, as well as to meet our long-term customers and partners there. We are definitely planning to attend the same event in Würzburg in 2021.
LINGVOBALT attends Meet Central Europe for the second time
On October 10-11, LINGVOBALT Managing Director Aleksandra Drublionienė attended the regional conference Meet Central Europe 2019, held in Prague. That was the second event organized by independent translation industry associations from Austria, Czech Republic, Hungary and Slovakia (the first one took place in 2018 in Budapest). On 4 October 2019 Vilnius University Faculty of Philology held a conference "Translation in a modern society: the changing profile of a translator, ethics, expectations" organized by the European Commission's Directorate-General for Translation and the Institute for Literary, Cultural and Translation Studies, Vilnius University.
