On September 15-16, Aleksandra Drublioniene, CEO of the translation company LINGVOBALT, attended the 5th Pan-Baltic conference of the American Chambers of Commerce of three Baltic counties, which was held in Riga this year. This event was a part of annual series of events embracing cooperation, communication, and exchange of experience among AmCham members across the Baltic region.
A two-day program covered such topics as defence and security, human capital development, access to healthcare and efficiency of the healthcare sector, as well as cybersecurity risks, threats and attacks in the Baltics. It also included visits to MikroTik, one of the largest Latvian companies, and Children’s University Hospital. During this event, we had a wonderful opportunity to participate in numerous discussions on the top challenges businesses face today as well as share our experience how language service providers respond to them. Understanding the needs and demands of different industries is extremely important for us as a translation and localization company, as only understanding the needs and challenges of our customers and partners, we can offer solutions to support them in their daily tasks and long-term plans.
