On 18 October 2018, LINGVOBALT interpreters participated in the event “Boating Tourism Development in the Curonian Lagoon and Further River Deltas & Lagoons along the South Coast Baltic”, which took place in Smiltynė Yacht Club (Klaipėda, Lithuania).

 

The conference was attended by guests from the southern Baltic Sea region countries: Poland, Germany, Denmark and Lithuania. The event made part of the project “South Coast Baltic: Establishing Durable Cross-Border Boating Destination Management on the Basis of the MARRIAGE Cooperation Network”.

At the conference, reports in English and Lithuanian were presented, which were simultaneously interpreted by LINGVOBALT linguists. LINGVOBALT also took care of the simultaneous interpretation equipment.

Ms Evelina Valaitytė, the Chief Specialist of the Strategic Planning and Investment Division of Klaipėda District Municipality Administration, responsible for the organization of the event, thanked LINGVOBALT for the professional services rendered. According to her, all the listeners, both from Lithuania and abroad, were satisfied with the work of the interpreters, nice communication and professional attitude.
